STILL THERE...

Sorry for no posts for a while. I have had my friends from Germany here and then I got sick.

So, now I am by myself again and a little better. A terrible stomach bug got a hold of me with a good dose of holiday depression, I think. I'd say it's pretty bad when I have to stay in bed for a couple of days and I don't even feel like knitting... But knitting while hanging over the toilet doesn't really work well. OOPS - sorry for the visual...

I'll be blogging again, I promise. I actually have some knitting to show, too.

Hang in there with me!

I'm so sorry you've been sick. Blech.

I'll see you Saturday for R's dinner, k?

Hope you feel back to normal soon!

awe, that totally stinks once you get some calm down time you get sick!

I often wish the holidays became more spread out, it's almost like too much at once, thanksgiving, christmas/channukah and new years. That's a lot to do in the span of 40 days along withe verything else going on. Esh!

Oh - that stinks when you get so sick you don't even want to knit.

Hope you are in better spirits soon.

Hi There Claudia!

Sorry to read that you have been sick. I hope you're feeling better. Sounds like you had a lovely time seeing your friends who were in town recently, at least!

I am writing to let you know that I am now addicted to knitting even though it has taken me a little while to catch on. I made a huge mistake on my little Noro Bag but Mike, at Knitch, helped me out and I will plan to finish it this week. I have also begun a scarf. It's actually the big chunky scarf sample that is in the back left hand corner of Knitch. Very cute and very easy. I wanted to try something on my own before taking the next class. So my question to you is will you be teaching the Saturday Beyond the Basics class in January? I'd really like to take the class with you again, if possible. Also, what project/s are done in this particular class??????I'd love to learn how to make socks. Thanks!

Terri

So sorry to hear you've been sick. My mom has had that same stomach bug.

I've been thinking about you what with the holidays coming up. It's never easy being without someone you love, but this time of year seems to bring it all back even for those of us who've lost special people many years ago. Please know that there are many of us out here keeping you close in our thoughts.

Hi, I am always reading your blog and I have been very worried about you. I hope you are feeling well and enjoying your trip home for the holidays. Just wanted to let you know I think you are a remarkable woman. You have had a really bad year and I hope 09 is better. I know you will forever miss your husband but you are a better person for knowing him and sharing him with all your readers. Love like that is very hard to find. Merry Cristmas, Jill
