Hubby never wanted his face on the blog. Today I want to show you my all-time favorite picture. This is hard for me, but this I how I will always remember him.

Oh Claudia, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember clearly when I first met you--I was pretty low after a broken heart, and I admired how you spoke of your husband and your love for him. You spoke of your love with such simple conviction, and it was evident in your voice and face, and I was so happy for you, and it gave me hope too. I hope that beauty will sustain you during these hard times. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Claudia, we've only met briefly a couple times, but I follow yours and just about everyone else's local knit blogs here. Believe me when I say that the unique and special love you and your husband shared showed through in just about every post of yours and those of countless others when they mentioned you. Would that everyone could be blessed to share the special bond you two must have. I can't imagine the loss you must be feeling. My heart goes out to you and your pups.
