I had to take Hubby to the airport today. Yup, the spousal visit is over. I'm not in a very good mood today, so I'll just post a bunch of pictures we took yesterday in Munich at Schloss Nymphenburg, yet another castle. We have quite a few around here.
Hubby and I spent the night in Munich at my roomie's place to save ourselves from getting up very early and a long drive to the airport in the morning.
Schloss Nymphenburg is famous for its botanical gardens and its china manufactory.

This is da' man himself - see, he was really here for a visit. And now he's gone and I won't see him again until July 3. At least, now half of my stay in Germany is almost over. To be precise, halftime is next Monday...
So, here are a bunch of expressions from the botanical garden. The flowers were beautiful and breathtaking:

Sorry for the color-overload... Definitely more cheerful than I right now...

Awwwww, I am sad for you as well. I am glad Hubby came to visit but I know the two of you will be very happy when it is all over.
Miss you and can't wait to see you again! Try not to work too hard the second half.

I'm catching up on your blog today, and got to see all of your hubby's visit at once. Such lovely photos. Sorry he had to go away so soon, but before you know it, you'll be home. We miss you, too.

SUCH a beautiful place - loved looking at all your pictures.
I'm glad that you did have that time with Hubby but I'm sure it felt OH so yukky when he had to go back. : (
One thing I have to say - I wish I had the kind of "rush hour" you have in Bavaria. I'd be outside all day hanging out with the cows.

Wow - just loving all your beautiful photos of Bavarian scenery and familiar sights in Munich. My own Dear Hubby and I have vacationed in Munich in April the past 4 years- we take long walks (love the Englischer Garten and convenient places to relax with the local brew!!) and take the train to visit the countryside.
Travel is too $$$ this Spring, but our own woofies are happy that we're at home. Seeing your pictures has been almost as much fun as being there!
Enjoy your time with your family. You're getting so much knitting done and you'll soon be home again. :-)
Any suggestions for yarn shops in Munich? I've only found one .. a few blocks away from the Viktualienmarkt. There's always time to shop for stash.

What gorgeous pictures.
Now, I want to go to Germany. Actually, I've wanted to go for some time.
Maybe next year!
