It rained most of Saturday, and this morning I woke up around 4am to a downpour. Exactly like the forecast predicted. I turned over with the thought of knitting all day while watching German TV, and then fell back to sleep.
So, I finished Dunkles Geplätscher as well this weekend. I think it's a bit too long and I'm glad I stopped knitting on the straight portion when I did. I had 12 balls but only used 9 (well, actually about 8½).

Project Stats:
Pattern: Clapotis by Kate Gilbert Craft
Needles: US 5 / 3.75 mm Knitpicks Options Circular
Yarn: Knit Picks Elegance
How much? 8½ skeins = 935.0 yards (855.0m)
Colorway: Black
I'm going to block the shawl once I get back home to Atlanta. I like it better when the dropped stitches are all stretched out, at least with this version. This one looks more like a classy evening shawl to me. But I also want to knit a second one with funky colors in fingering weight. And my parents old, uh-h-h antique, carpet is a nice background, isn't it? ;-)
