DAY 10 - HANGING OUT

Day 10 - Hanging out

Hanging out with my roomie is the nicest part of my being away from home, I have to say. I took the candle picture after dinner tonight. We sat on her balcony with a glass of Pinot Grigio, actually I think we killed the bottle... We finally had to go inside a little while ago because it got too cold - even with a fleece sweater and a blanket... May in Germany is still freakin' cold...

It seems like we have years to talk about to catch up on. I love to cook and she is happy that someone is feeding her - good combination, right? We met in 1990 through work, it almost instantly clicked, and we became best friends. She was with me through some rough times and knows me well. It's interesting to go back in time and remember all the people and things.

I am tired now - remember, it's 6 hours ahead of Georgia time, so it's after 11 pm - way past my usual bedtime... Good night!
