... for several reasons!
This has been a very stressful week at work and I'm glad it's finally Friday. I'm battling a cold and I know I'll need this weekend to sleep and get better and hopefully get rid of the cold. BECAUSE - another stressful week at work is coming up...
And then - I have one more week and I'm leaving for a loooooooooooooooooooooong trip to Germany. There are a couple of major projects I'll be working on for the next two months in our Munich office. It was not really clear until this week for how long I'll be gone. I'll be back for 4th of July. Yup - that's how long I'll be gone. It's for a lot longer than I thought and I'm in a funk right now because everything is happening a little too fast for my pea brain...
Anyway - the "Name the Socks" contest closed on Sunday. I know, I know, the poll should have been posted days ago, but I felt too tired and too crappy to touch the blog after work. I had to go to bed and sleep, sorry. And you people left so many comments with name suggestions. WOW! I have to figure out how to put 30 entries into one poll...
So, be patient with me for a little longer. I'll be putting up the poll this weekend.
In the meantime - the Yarn Harlot, Stephanie Pearl McPhee, was in Atlanta last Sunday, and during her book signing at Knitch, she knitted on my socks that y'all suggested names for:
Isn't that just fabulous? Hubby asked if I am never going to knit on those socks again because the Yarn Harlot touched them. Hmmm, for once that would be a good excuse to not finish a project...
