DAY 4 - MARIENPLATZ, MUNICH

Day 4

I took the picture this morning at the Marienplatz, one of the very famous spots in the center of Munich. On my way to the old office location, I walked by this building every day.

I am pretty exhausted today because I worked 13 hours straight yesterday packing around 80 boxes with heavy binders. And we had to catalog 40 of these boxes because they will go into an archive in the basement. Don't ask me how coordinated the move has been so far. Tomorrow is a bank holiday in Germany - actually three days fall together: Labor Day, Ascension Day and Father's Day. Therefore, I'll have a day off - and I think it's well deserved. ;-) My roomie organized a brunch and then a hike along the river. We'll see how well I can move tomorrow.

Martina Wismer:

You definitely deserve a day off. With all this work stuff going on, do you get any knitting done?

Doug:

The Glockenspiel!! Can you hear it from your office? Enjoy your day off.

The architecture of the buildings is beautiful. One day hopefully I'll visit Germany and see for myself.
