Mom knitted another fabulous sweater for me. I am just such a lucky girl. I knew she finished it but I told her to wait until Christmas. Would have been a nice gift. Now she might have to knit something else...
What amazes me tho', is that I'm never there to try them on but they always fit to a tee. Jen says it's because Mama knows my size, but then she somehow knows that it sure has changed, too. :-)

The yarn is Schoeller Stahl La Spezia. It says Baumwolle-Cabl茅. It is 100% mercerized cotton and it feels very soft. The color is called rubin red. LOVE IT!
Anyways, I'll be all dressed up and a show off with the new sweater for the Cat Bordhi class at Knitch tomorrow. I am very excited. Jen, Jane and I are taking one of Cat's mind-twisting classes where she'll teach us to understand how she designed those new sock architectures and how to create socks based on her new book. I met her last night at the AKG Meet & Greet at Knitch.

She is extremely funny and totally interesting. I can't wait for the class tomorrow morning. Brain-twisting from 11am to 6pm. I guess I should bring some garter stitch knitting for the breaks.
OK, off to pack my bag for class. And tons of vitamins to keep my brain running.

Beautiful sweater! Your mother is very talented! No wonder, considering her daughter. =)
Cat is my sock-idol. I wish I could be there!

How pretty! Your mother makes the most beautiful sweaters!
Jane was showing us the sample sock for Cat's class on Sunday and it was very confusing, although pretty cool. Good luck!

How is it possible that a mom who never tries anything one you can get a sweater to fit miles away and I can't get one to fit ON MY OWN BODY! Your mom just hit genius status.

To be a upright human being is to have a make of openness to the far-out, an skill to trust uncertain things beyond your own restrain, that can lead you to be shattered in unequivocally exceptional circumstances pro which you were not to blame. That says something uncommonly outstanding thither the fettle of the ethical compulsion: that it is based on a corporation in the fitful and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a spy than like a jewel, something rather feeble, but whose very precise handsomeness is inseparable from that fragility.
