First, let me show you something. :-) Three gorgous swatches. I promised you I would knit it but these knitters are so lightning fast. I hope y'all don't mind that I'm showing off your work.
Go look at Mrs. Fife's swatch.
And this is blogless Diana's swatch (if you are on Ravelry - you can find her as dyetom):

And this is Doug's swatch:

Guys, you did a great job!!! The swatches are all beautiful. So all the rest of you can say:
Thank you, Doug, Diana and Mrs. Fife's, you made my swatch life a lot easier. ;-)
After the weekend I will post the chart.
AND NOW - TA-DA!!! I can finally say something before I totally burst with giddy excitement. The new Debbie Stoller book Son of Stitch 'n Bitch: 45 Projects to Knit and Crochet for Men is on the bookshelves:

If you go to page 185, you find a sock pattern called Tubey:

Yup - my first published pattern. It is exciting!
This weekend is going to be fun. Jacquie and I are taking a two-day-workshop at Knitch. We are going to design our own bag with Noni pattern designer Nora Bellows! I guess fall is finally really here and I am ready for some felting.
I finished the prototype of a brand new chemo cap. The pattern will be up for sale soon and the proceeds will go towards a breast cancer research group that I heard about from Cat Bordhi.

Stay tuned for the Cat Bordhi workshop report and cap pattern. I need to go to Knitch now. :-)

The chemo cap is beautiful and so nice in the cotton/cashmere. You'll have enough patterns for your own book soon.

I have my book and Sharpie pen ready for your autograph. It's not every day that one actually KNOWS the person behind the pattern. Many Congrats!
MY swatch has just been emailed to you, finally done. (it took 4 tries, what can I say.) It would have been no trouble for me if it were written in Chinese, Russian, or Portuguese. KIDDING, just kidding, Folks.
