WORD OF THE DAY - DER UMSCHLAG

Requested by many...

In fond recollection of a wonderful weekend in the mountains last February with the Atlanta Knitting Guild, we will today learn the yarn over. We clinked with our glasses (and Gatorate bottles with vodka and cranberry juice) with the German word for a yarn over - Umschlag - instead of the good old boring Prosit, Cheers, À votre santé or Skål.

yarn over (noun) - der Umschlag

HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY!!!
