WORD OF THE DAY - DIE SPITZE

Well - I still haven't sat down with my books (what am I thinking...), and therefore I'm going to have to put off introducing more technical knitting terms, and instead give you some less specialized words for the next few days. Let's start with a very old but very back-in-style technique. There are all these Yahoo Groups and Knit-A-Longs out there (and I'm sure there are more):

Mystery Stole 3
Secret of Chrysopolis
Secret of the Stole
Muir Along (for the Knitty pattern)

and it's all about...

lace (noun) - die Spitze

Jane:

Am I remembering correctly that die Spitze is the feminine tense? If so, it seems appropriate to lace. If not, nevermind.
