Well, actually the fair starts tomorrow, but some of us couldn't wait, so we got together tonight for dinner at the Early Girl Eatery in Asheville. Good food and interesting beer selection:
Hubby and I set next to Sandy's left. Privacy-nut Hubby has yet to appear in a photo in my blog. He's hoping he can dodge all the photo opportunities during this SAFF weekend, but it might not be so easy when there are more bloggers around.
Jill is off to Jodi's right, but she's also a private person and successfully dodged this photo. ;-)
And Jen brought buttons for the Ravelriers. Now you know how to pick me out of the crowd - just look for a small button with my name on it, MUA-HA-HA-HA! The Georgia Knit Blogger button is one of Regan's button series.
See ya at the SAFF fairgrounds tomorrow - well, maybe a little bit before and after class and during lunch. I'm taking The Magic of Spinning Hand-Painted Fibers with Margaret Heathman. It starts bright and early at 9:30am and ends at 5pm. I am off to bed now to get some sleep and hopefully some good spinning mojo. Of course, I have not spun at all today...

awww, y'all look so cute. and fiber-ready.
i'm sending you my stored-up fiber mojo (which hopefully can be easily converted to spinning mojo) since i can't make it up there. hope everyone has a fantastic time! can't wait to see updates. =]

SHEESH! Ya'll look like you are having SO much fun and SAFF has yet to start. I'm definately in my jealousy mode right now, very glad you all are there and enjoying yourselves but very pissed at myself for not being able to. BOO HOO HOO.....what a baby I'm being. Have FUN guys.....buy lots of stuff and show me when ya'll get back!

Dang I hate you all!!! OK, hate is a strong word - severely dislike perhaps.
OK, OK - I'm just EXTREEMLY jealous is all!! I wish I could be there. Next year FOR SURE and I need to know which cabins you are staying at! Sounds perfect for hubby and I especially since we can bring the travel mutts!

I see you caught each and every one of us at our sexiest. It was awfully early in the evening for so many stunned faces, as I recall.
It was great meeting you guys this weekend, and I hope I'll be able to make it back again next year.
